When I planned my dive trip to Con Dao, I was picturing beautiful reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But I discovered something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **A Shipwreck Dive**. My heart leaped. This was more than a typical dive; this was exploration into history.

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** was fantastic. The Divemasters provided a detailed safety briefing. We discussed safety protocols, the history of the sunken ship, and what we would see. Being in a small group instantly put me at ease safe.

Descending was surreal. First, it was just a dark shape in the distance, and then the wreck appeared. It is enormous. It's now a bustling new home, draped in corals and teeming with fish. I spotted giant groupers peeking from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the cracks. That feeling of gliding alongside this silent, ghostly structure is indescribable—eerie, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once. It truly is a time capsule on the seabed.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and seeking something more the usual reef dive, I cannot urge you this **dive** enough. It was read more the absolute highlight of my Vietnam trip. A huge thank you to the **Amadive Con Dao** team for their professionalism and for making this unforgettable adventure possible and safe.
